Sahastradhara Ropeway – Design and Commissioning

Dev Bhumi Ropeways was awarded the contract for the concept design, drafting of the Preliminary Feasibility Report (PFR), Detailed Project Report (DPR), construction/erection, and trial testing of the Sahastradhara Ropeway project for M/S Ganpati Sagar Hill Rise Ropeways Pvt. Ltd. The project was completed in March 2007, with the trial and handover to M/S Ganpati Sagar Hill Rise Ropeways Ltd. taking place in April 2007.

The Sahastradhara Ropeway project is located in the scenic Sahastradhara area of Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The ropeway system provides easy access to the picturesque hill station and its surrounding areas. The ropeway system has significantly contributed to the development of the tourism industry in the area by providing an efficient and comfortable mode of transportation.
